Property of the Week - The Milk Depot
This week's featured property is located in Lower Kensington at the old Harbison's Dairy Complex. Harbison Dairy opened in 1865 and delivered milk to residents of Philadelphia for almost 100 years until it closed in the mid 1960's. The large brick complex, known as The Milk Depot, is still there and has been converted into 13 modern lofts. Totaling 25,000 square feet, the structure is comprised of two existing buildings with a common gated entry and courtyard. This particular unit is the largest and sits at the top of the building with unobstructed views of the Center City skyline.
On the upper level of this two story loft, you'll find the kitchen, a full bath, and lots of living space. From here, you can see all the way to Center City.
The lower level is where you'll find two large bedrooms, another full bath, and lots more living space.
